Very good observation.   Right now I'm finishing Hogzilla so it could be anywhere from 6 months to a year. . Seriously, it should be done soon.

I've been doing some work here and there on this project, making small improvements. Taking a tip from Darren Robert's EF-18G, I've hollowed out a little of the main gear leg and added a "pin" to give it more of an articulated look.

  Do you dare me to do another nose art by hand?   For some reason, this weird idea of how I put things together in my head. I'm kinda doing what the Borg did to the creations they assimilated. Adding parts here and there. Maybe a Hornet head with a new eye or something like that for the art? Just thinking out loud.......:p

I really enjoyed my other monikers, but I must confess, the 1st one is the one I enjoy most. Thank you to the powers that be or whomever changed it back.

Thanks for the heads up, but I think I'm going to try it myself and add a little of my own flair.

Almost done with repairs. Here's a tailhook I made out of a piece of sprue. Also, the gear mods are done and she's back on her feet.

Like Tom Cullen, I forgot to add the bolt that secures the interchangeable thingamabob to the hook shaft itself. M-O-O-N, that spells I forgot (obscure Stephen King reference).

Not that obscure. Next to the Dead Zone the Stand is his best stuff, and one of my favourite books.
