Gondor

My Ability to Imagine is only exceeded by my Imagined Abilities

Gondor's Modelling Rule Number Three: Everything will fit perfectly untill you apply glue...

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

PR19_Kit

Hmm, it looks just like an F-22.  ;D

And it's a 'Click-Together' kit too, no glue required, AND it's not that expensive by current standards either!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Hannants list it as a "canard" fighter.  Unless they are using the French meaning of the word, they are mistaken.  It lacks the forward winglets. :banghead:

I had to read up on it and there was a canard option during the design stage but dropped. Someone didn't read the whole article.
This is an interesting design and now Poland is interested.

Ooh yes please!

Could do one in USAF markings and confuse people into thinking it's an F-22

Neither had I but, it's just another boring, grey jet so I think I will just move on by! 🤔😉

F-22 and F-35 resemblance, a lot of questions still remain about the cost estimates. It will probably be a repeat of the Japanese experience with the Mitsubishi F-2 which ended up costing more than twice than the projected price and far more than the cost an F-16 tailored to JASDF requirements.

Perhaps, but it keeps Korean taxpayers money in their country, Koreans in jobs paying taxes and spending in their economy, and less reliance on a US that is increasingly an unreliable ally.
Buying American does none of that.

Pity some of our Government don't think that way..............

The Poles commettment to korean defence industry is interesting, and one should also remember that they're not the only NATO country to buy Korean - also Norway has bought the SPH's, f.i. It'll be interesting to see where this goes in the longer term.

Lockheed is involved in the project and the US Government allowed the transfer of several F-35 technologies.
