I assume 1/35 Jeff ? I remember building the old Revell (or was it Linwall) Ontos as a kid in the 60's. Great memories of it. Also there's that classic footage of a Marine Ontos landing on a Vietnam beach for inspiration

Think the initial kit is the CV9040 armed with the 40mm gun, i suspect your after the 30 or 35mm version

^ No, the 40mm version is fine with me. I just noticed that the pic shows a different version, so I guess Acdemy will release several versions of the kit. CV90!

An "Ontos" ?? mmmm Does any of the older wiffers remember the Frog "deluxe" kit. (Renwall for the cousins)

Academy is doing a 1/35 Merkava Mk4 and a 1/72 M977 HEMTT which will be really handy

I had the Revell re-issue in the eighties, but its long gone. This is very welcome news.

It'll be a shame if Academy hasn't done their own Lightning and I think it will be the first tie-up with Trumpeter if it is the same kit after all the Revell and Trumpter Gannets are different.

Any ideas when the Oshkosh is coming out? As I can't be bothered finishing my resin one.
I want at least 3 of these things as part of my Marine expeditionary force, and maybe make one into a missile platform.
