Well here it is, my first completed vac kit :D

After the cancellation of the MB5 project a rich playboy saw the airframe lying around to be scrapped and snatched it up for practically nothing and realizing what a wonderful super handling aircraft it was quickly decided to race it and very successfully I might add.  The Griffon powerplant proved extremely reliable.  The canopy was shaved and a fillet was added to the base of the tail.  Clipped wings were considered but found unnecessary.  No one seems to know where this awesome aircraft is now located, it just disappeared for the scene in the early 80's and no recorded crash was ever located.  The mystery continues.......

I was extremely pleased with this build and the way it came out. It is also another first as in a racer/civilan aircraft.  Thanks for letting me participate.

The last view is the top.

Holy farg...completely humbled over here in Alberta as I struggle to make sense out of my own endeavor....

Stupid fargin' vacforms!   <_<  :P

But seeing one turn out as successfully as yours does give me hope.
Love the "Tide" logo!

nice racer you got there!  By chance, were those decals from a Ricky Rudd model car?  Cuz I have a #10 Ricky Rudd model lying around here somewheres.
Man, we should have cloned twenties. Jackson wouldn't have given a poo-poo.

no, these decals came from a Darrell Walthrip ASA Camaro.  It never got built since i am a Mustang/Ford guy.

Keith Diamond

oooo!  I'm a DW fan, and a Mustang/Ford fan as well.  In racing, I tend to like whoever, no matter what car they have, but I own a 2001 Mustang :D
