That just leaves one more for the rest of us.   :D

Nope.
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die

I vote with Jschmus. If I hadn't already spent waaay too much money on other things I'd already have one of these on order  :)   I'd like to think it fought it's way out of that circle of hell and it's coming to GETCHA !    :)

Edit:Excuse me  I'm having a bad day grafting merlins onto a canard monoplane Heyford and IT DOESN'T WANT TO WORK.  It will though.. if it kills me  :)

Funny thats what I thought the moment I saw it.
Flying is like riding a bike only its harder to get the playing cards in the spokes

I put my order in as soon as I saw the kit was available.  Can't have too many "weird birds" in MY collection!

QuoteIt sort of has the feel of the "Goblin" parasite fighter ;) Verry Cool indeed
Yes!  Exactly true.  Now, to what bizarre beast would this little Goblin II be a parasite fighter?  Helluva in-flight diorama possibility!

I know this is a plastic modelling site and I know we're not supposed to talk of our somewhat distant cousin's the R/C aircraft bunch but I believe that with the right equipment this little monstrosity would fly as an Electric R/C bird. I does look like something out of Naussica. It's sooo damned ugly it's cute but it really needs to be in a bigger scale too. Just when you've had your fill of Potez bombers and the like  here come the Miss Universe of Fugly

P.S. This is my first post here so don't mind my ramblings, another refugee from the finescale modeling forums. Thought Anthony14 could use some company I'm Wespe over there.

Wellcome Tracey - I for one think it's a cute little thing. Rather fish like. Have to find out what French for Piranha is ? Probably Le/La Pirahna
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I had it in my bestiary a few monthes ago . From Unikraft text it seems there is a patent covering as well which I did not knew at the time.

I will try to locate the patent .

QuoteI LIKE IT!  It does have a very "anime" feel to it, but I wouldn't mind seeing it in Star Wars paint, fending off pirates from some Outer Rim world.
Or Crimson Skies . . .

For a practical note, if that aircraft had a rough landing, the main wheels would punch thru the wing.  Opps.  Steve

I see... hacking up a Testors/Hawk Me-163.   Some spare wings... Some plastic ice cream spoons for spats... And a good use for some Hawk French roundels...

Folks,

A question for those of you who've gotten your hands on this kit - does it seem too narrow to you?

I got mine and it seemed far too thin even for its vacuformed cockpit.  This seemed odd.  It also seemed underscale for width in that there'd be no way a 72nd scale pilot figure could fit inside it.

Your thoughts?

Madoc
Wherever you go, there you are!

Tophe

It seems OK for me. Look on the 3-view drawing: the incredibly narrow shape is a way to streamlining (very small frontal area). Very unusual but possible (while refused and not ordered/built by the Armée de l'Air)...
