I visited the LHS this afternoon, and in the new FSM, there's a Gallery photo of someone's kitbashed tiltrotor escort.  The builder used wings and engines from a 1/72 Osprey, with the fuselage of a 1/48 Hasegawa Cessna Citation, with bits from a 1/48 Comanche and an AV-8B.  It looked cool, but not as cool as this.
