Yup! Major inspiration once I decided to use the pusher configuration. I ALMOST went with the manned nacelles, but just couldn't factor in the room for the crew in them. Besides, anyone in the nacelles was a dead duck if the plane was ever shot at...flaming engine behind, burning fuel tanks beside, and a whirling cuisinart blade in your egress path..yeah..sure way to eliminate aircrew!

That's a fine show of skills and imagination.  I like the pusher design, not something you see all that often anymore.  Great work!
The Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah, the Men's department.

This is just over the top, Alvis!

Over the freakin' top, man.

I'd sure like to see some in-progress pics to learn how you pulled this together.

That's just plain crazy good!

Ohmygoodness that is sooo wonderfully delightful Alvis.

I think I need to change my shorts.

Your work is among the most astoundingly talented I've ever seen. In my wildest, fondest dreams I could never do so well! Thank you for the pics.

P.S. My guess on how many kits sacrificed was one Martin Baltimore. Although I don't think Monogram ever kitted such an esoteric aircraft.  :dum:

Alvis 3.1

I've had a couple people state it looks Baltimorish, and yes, Monogram never made one. And I didn't use one!
