Some nice articles.  I've got a question about the top one, "What was the largest gun ever installed on a plane?"

In Tony Butlers British Jet Fighters, it was mentioned that there where plans to mount a 4.5" gun (a smidge bigger than 100mm) on a fighter!!! :blink:   Was this ever trialed?!?!? :huh:
