Missed it last year but I'm in this year!

Cheers Nev, it's like unwrapping a Christmas present!  Oooh, look at all these lovely pressies.....

I'm very impressed, the standard was fantastic.  Well done to all invloved last year, I'm looking forward to joining in!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I'm in.

Jschmus

I'm in.  And since I'm one of those who didn't finish one, I suppose I can spare two kits this go-around.

if it involves receiving a present I'm in!

OK, looks like we're getting enough to put together a GB.  I'll start pimping this again in early November so all the UK bods can swap kits at the nats & save postage.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Is there a chance we could list up partners in October ?  All of our stuff in the states is going to have to be mailed...just a thought.

October sounds like a good idea for those of us here in the U.S. I'm so keen on this GB I can't wait for it to start!

Just a thought on the logistics of this build, since so many are signing up;  I know I dont live that far from JSchmus, and I'm sure there are other "neighbors" on here, could we have it set up for "in person" swaps where possible?  I know I'd rather spend the postage on getting a nicer kit to give.

Anyway, it's just a thought that may not be workable, but it may work out for some.

I agrre with you Aero, as it is I'm just a few miles up the road from F32, then there's the High Wycombe bunch as well.

Good suggestion - I think Toad, Rallymodeller & Anthony P are all quite close.  Nearer teh time when we've got all the names, if there's someone down who lives near you, give me a shout and I'll take you out of the draw.

Regarding doing the draw in October, I don't plan starting this GB till the end of the year/new year, so I think October is a bit early (unless US Postal shuts down completely in December?)

Honestly, it almost does "shut down". We have this little holiday...what was it...oh yeah, Christmas!  The lines after Thanksgiving (end of november for us Yanks) are unbelievable...often an hour or more spent in time just standing around watching the kids scream.  That's why I was thinking of getting a jump on the mailing issue, not the start time for the build...
