How about adding a rear gunner, bombs and spats?

Did I mention that I love spats?

Brian da Basher

P.S. Alternatively, how about a rear gunner, floats and a torpedo?

P.P.S. You could also add a little stub wing for that sesquiplane layout you're so fond of.

Was just wondering that yesterday at the LHS myself.
Considering floats and a twinned tailfin (like that of a Ventura, etc.).

But how to get a decent windscreen in place????

Long-range recce aircraft for 'accidental' overflights of the IJN in Truk while attempting further records.  Perahps even in one of those 'groovy' USAAC wargames schemes?

That should make for some interesting tandem seating arrangements.

Shouldn't it be a Canadian SAR aircraft.   Instead of a windscreen just place a very large binoccle periscope out the front, put it on skiis, and clear prop!  Toque not included.

To close to reality, we just retired ours last year !

:P

I like the idea of a windscreen and a gunner. It would look good in spats with the old Yankee yellow and blue AAC scheme.

Have fun !

D'Oh!!!

Nah, it's just too old-looking for the novel perfection that the esteemed "T-Tail" represents...   -_-

Floats/Skis is good, really good.

How's about a really cool late forties Hot-Rod scheme (pearlescent paint, flames, moon-eyes etc), a couple of big racing numbers from a passing NASCAR kit, a couple of sponsors stickers, a three (or four, or five), bladed prop, some aerodynamic SPATS (Hello BdaB   ).....

.....there ya go, Post-War Pylon Racer !

You could add a ridiculously large gondola to the underside. Some large bulbous turrets some extra engines make it a lot less aerodynamic.

Wack some French roundels on it and say it is a mid war bomber.
