First off, I'd like to share a photo of yesterday's sunrise. :D


Okay, everyone has seen the Super Guppy, right?(I took this at an airshow 1 year ago)


Well, here's my latest endeavour. The next generation air transport for the Orion spacecraft. I call it the Super Grouper :P . Get it? Bigger fish than a guppy? Okay, it sounds corny, but I like it ;)  :lol:. As usual, this is the mock up. I used a 1/200 Quantas 747, DC-10 tail and a shortened 1/144 Space Shuttle external tank. Since I've got the long weekend on tap, I'm hoping to get some work done on it. :)

Wow Mr Miller another show-stopper in the making! I really like that tail engine and I hope you'll keep it! That tail engine would look great along with four mounted under the wings!

Didn't someone post images of something similar a while back?  I think it was a 747 modified to transport 767 parts or something like that.. B)

No, this one has been retired to the R/D bin until I can work out some of the shapes I need to manufacture for the smooth blend of parts I'm looking for. :)

Thin styrene sheet, Eddie?  You could always figure out the appropriate patterns from paper card and, once you get them correct, transfer their outlines to thin plastic sheet.

Very good idea!. I was also thinking of using this site that Black Ops turned us on to sometime ago.
