hi all
the old known build....
the only thing which was changed is the cowling made from a am avenger cowling part which was not completely injected... <_<
but..."usefull" :D
Im thinking about changing the engine to the 2800 type...

Bouncing bomb?

How do you paint your landing gear and other details with them already in place?

Oh we missed you Peter!

For some reason I'm on a real naval bent at the mo, and a suitably-modded Helldiver sounds grand! Go Peter Go!

BTW how is the Kittiwake conversion coming? Have you made a prototype yet?

Is that a bouncing bomb???

Another one to watch eagerly :)

Highball?

Very interesting...

'Highball' was more spherical than the 'Upkeep' bomb. But damm Peter that looks damm good. You've got me wondering what kind of mission you've got planned for this beauty.

Have you considered using the resin engine cowling on your Corsair for another version of the Helldiver?  As underpowered as the real aircraft was, that adaption would greatly improve performance of the "Beast" and give it a new improved look as well.

The depth bomb shaped object under the fuselage needs to be explained a bit further.

hi
for first many thanks for the comments
for second.Im planing to install the academy 2800 from the p-47N....wrong "place" for this engine with this crankcase  <_<
the problem to install the corsair cowling would be the oval shape of the helldivers fuselage...I thing the reinstall of the engine is the simple way and it looks very well (I tested it allready! :D ) .the only thing is the prop...maybe an academy or monogram T-bolt prop would look much better... <_<
Im planing to make this aircraft with markings of my sierra scale models (good decals...but an yogurt-cup kit... ) barracudas "european" decal version.
many thanks for the comments again!
by the way....what do you mean with "more explained"?
the bomb under the fuselage is the same like in the tamyia lancaster kit.
all dimensions are the same and the art of attachment is the same too.
