Yeah, that's a finger up your bum, huh?

Well, my first Mirage is done, right down to the pitot tube (but no in-flight refueling probe).  This is the kit I redid the ejection seat for (see above).

Unfortunately, with daylight from only about 9 am to 4 pm and none of it making it to anywhere in our house where it would be safe to properly photograph it, these pics are terrible, (flash-exposed) but you can at least see it.  Sort of.  The Freemason markings (NOT a Jolly Roger Skull & Crossbones, either!) are hand-painted.

Premise is "what if Freemasonry and similar groups really did run the world but had decided a century ago to not bother concealing the fact?"

I've asked Darkclaw to write a brief backstory which we will hopefully see soon.

If it's hovering just at freezing again tomorrow, I might risk taking some outdoor shots on my diorama tarmac-base.

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

QuoteI decided to build the first Mirage I saw on my shelf, which turned out to be the 1:48 Italeri Mirage 2000C.
No, impossible. You mistyped 1:48 for 1:4, obviously, absurdly. It is so impossible to reach such a level at 1:48... :P
This is confirmed plainly. Such a level of perfection is NOT possible at 1:48. Admit this is a 1:4 huge model, this will not mean you are a bad modeller, JHM, this will just mean you are human like us, not a God from Above.
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

I'm at a loss - this is spectacular.  Can't wait to read the entire backstory.

I,too, prostate myself  before such a master in camo...  ;)
That's just superbrilliant!!! Supercalifragilistic!! (Zac has invented an incredible word for these kind of works...)
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Holy feckin' fantastic amazing!!!! Mr Howling Mouse, you've created a masterpiece! I love that awesome camo scheme and those eerie masonic markings! What's next? Knights of Columbus Air Force? The Lions' Flying Corps? The Shriners' Air Wing?

I am simply astounded.
