here's the (slow) pregress on my Welsh models 1/144 Belfast

after a bit of fettling to get the fuselage to fit properly, not helped by some over zealous sanding on my part here's the almost complete fuselage, will hopefully get the wings/engines done this weekend...

Looking forward to seeing this one finished.

Nice progress Mike! I was getting a little worried not seeing any new posts here lately. I'm glad to know folks are still hard at work on Vac projects. I can't wait to see your next update. The Belfast is always an eye-catcher!

The Rat

Aaaaaah, one of my faves. And the one time we had one in at YYZ I didn't have my camera.  :(  :(  :(

So, when do you fit the planing hull?  :D

Ditto.  And, if you could supply plenty of in-progress shots, maybe I'd learn enough to be able to complete my (f)RIGGIN' biplane vac4m.

a bit more progress today while listening to the cricket, the wings & tailplanes will need a fair bit of filling, as will the engines when I fit them, luckily the u/c sponsons fitted tighly with the help of some superglue and brute force... now thankfully it's looking like a plane... ;)

Wow Mike that's fantastic progress! You got a lot done. She's looking great!

I know, I've suprised myself! the big gaping holes have now been filled, engines have been fitted (but need a lot of work), hope to get some primer on before the weekend and see how much more filling/sanding is needed (I'm guessing a lot)

Brian da Basher

Wow I think you've topped yourself with this latest update! She's looking great!

Go, Mike, go!

primer is on but much sanding/filling is in order...

Brian da Basher

Wow Mike each update of yours on this project is more impressive than the last! You're quite the perfectionist. It looks all ready for decals to my eye! I can't wait to see your next update. Looking great! B)
