God you make it look so easy, looks awesome.

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

back from holiday & raring to go (well, sort of...)

finally got all the sanding done & scribed in a few panel lines to busy it up a bit

a clue as to the final paint scheme...

and a bigger clue as to the final paint scheme...

as I'm off work again tomorrow I will hopefully get the camo masked up & the dark earth on... then it's the black undersides...    not sure if I'll get chance to finish the decals in time though!

Looking great Mike! I'm really intrigued by the paint scheme and can't wait to see it finished! I have every confidence you'll get this in under the wire!

Go, Mike, go!

10 points to Nev!  :D

after taking the pics I think I got the sand/brown camo proportions slightly out & have a bit too much sand, so, a quick respray (& lots of paint matching & hand painting cause I ran out of Tamiya Dark Earth spray...) to some key areas means it now looks a bit better... still needs its black undersides...

Brian da Basher

Wow Mike that camo scheme is a real eye-catcher! Your Belfast is coming along wonderfully! There's something very compelling about that tan-and-chocolate brown. B)

Absitively lovely mate! Fantabulousness! My hat's off to you.

Ay chance of a size comparison with another model, just so we (ok then, I) can get an idea of its size?

Very nice! But what's with the white spot over the cockpit?

I believe it was to reflect the heat - rather like the white panel on the spine of the Cyprus based Lightnings to protect the AVPIN tank from over-heating.

AFAIK that's correct Nev
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

sadly I now have no chance of getting this thing finished, the main paint is now on but needs a lot of tidying up, lots of bleed under my underside masking (probably due to spraying it outside in the near dark on friday night), then there's the decals that need doing... bugger it! it will be finished, just not this weekend    sorry chaps!

Similar boat here.  Wonder if we could possibly convince the extremely benevolent and tolerant moderate that a one-week extension is in order?
