Quick, somebody check on Wooksta! And remove any sharp objects from the vicinity.  ^_^

Makes sense to me seeing as the R.A.F. are flying Mirage IVs

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

You're using a decal set...suitable for a Phantom...on a TSR.2 ???

Isn't that illegal over in U.K.????   :o

Can't wait to see this one, Nev.

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Captain Canada

Nice way to start a thread, Nevster ! Looking forward to more updates !

So, um, whens the deadline?

Should have her done for Telford for sure.

Just look at that lovely fit, only a touch of filler needed on this one  <_<

Underneath.  No, I haven't outlined the gear doors in black, those are the gaps  :(

Well, I spent most of today doing the fill/sand/prime/repeat routine.......got it to a point where its not perfect, but it'll do.  Otherwise I would have spent every night this week doing this, and that would drive me crazy.

So, then it was on with a coat of Halfords Yellow.  God bless Halfords.  One coat for a nice, smooth yellow finish :)

Now I'm in the process of putting on my blu-tac sausages.  Then lots of masking tape .  I was hoping to get this done this evening so I can spray the black when I come home from work tomorrow evening (the clocks went back yesterday, so it gets dark by 1700 now), but I think I'm going to struggle.

How much more black can you get?  None, none more black  :ar:

Sadly, my can of Halfords Gloss Black was mis-behaving.  Low on power, just wasn't spraying very well, coupled with hideous weather (dashed out between the sleet showers and braved the howling gale) means patchy coverage, glossier in some places than others.

Luckily the real Super Mystere this scheme comes from was a bit of a rough paint job  :ar:

Really nice looking build Nev, and 10 cool points for the "Spinal Tap" reference.

nev

Surely that should be 11 cool points?  ;)
