The 1/48 Tonkas will have the guys on BM going wild - there have been rumours of an "Asian" manufacturer doing a 48th Tornado for about a year now...

I was talking with Jeffry Fontaine a few nights ago about this This looks like it's the so called "Super Pershing" The 3rd Armored Division used a Super Pershing near the end of W.W.2 It was a T26E4,but it had extra armor on the front hull

The Hobby Boss kit will be in 1/35 I think Trumpeter makes one in 1/72 I will get the 1/35 kit I may add a long 105mm barrel to it I am not sure if the Hobby Boss kit will have the extra hull armor
Yeah,I know the load is late. But the voices keep telling me to pull over and clean the guns.

Scott Van Aken has a review of the HobbyBoss #87209, 1/72nd scale TA-7C Corsair II available for your viewing pleasure on Modeling Madness

*just noticed the MSRP on that kit is $29.05.  WOW!   For that price I would hope there are two models in that box.

G'day Gang,

The Japanese "Hobby Search Online Store" is a great repository of instruction sheets etc, for a variety of kits.  Hobby Boss has really outdone themselves for us 35th scale ground-pounders.  Of particular interest to me is their release of the AAV7PA1 with an interior, which makes a nice change from the large blank space of the Tamiya or Academy issues.

G'day Gang,

Another Hobby Boss gem looks to be their UH-1C in 72nd scale.  With a choice of Grenade Launcher nose turret and three kinds of interiors and exterior armaments, it looks to be a winner.  About the only thing they don't offer is the quad M60 fit, but I'm unsure as to whether this was carried by the C models.  The same kit is used for their B model, although they err quite badly here giving a 'Dustoff' slick a GL nose turret along with the same armament options.

That's odd -- they give the mounting points for the quad-M60s but no guns. Strange.

That looks worth buying just for the weapon options! There's some rare rocket varieties there.....

I just picked up the Hobby Boss V-150 with 90mm Gun.  Looks rather sweet in the box and certainly something different.

G'day Gang,

Rather than blibbel on about the swathe of predicted releases from Hobby Boss, might I point you to their website. Plenty of good news there, if only CAD drawings for the parts.

It looks pretty much just like a scaled down version of the larger 1/32nd scale Trumpeter kit with all of the same details and...

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
