Looks like a really nice line-up, I haven't tried any of these yet but my LHS just got some in so I may need to pick up one or two and see how it goes. Sometimes a quick build is just what is needed

I think the Easy Model line are already built up and painted. I have several in the collection and they cost me less than $10 and are a nicely done alternative to Corgi and Hobby Master's diecast offerings.

easy model are a different company and they do a nice as-90, the name easy model is the range of kits. imagine a siecast model in plastic on a sprue and thats what you get.

HobbySearch, an online Japanese hobby store has released some sprue & instruction pics of the Hobby Boss F-15 pair and F/A-18 pair.  Unfortunately, it seems they don't come with external stores, but are in the same vein as their WW2 fighters with two decalling options.

I don't get what HobbyBoss are doing right now - this and their A-10 are being marketed as the "easybuild" types, but they're charging Hasegawa prices for them.  They're too expensive for "pocket money" buys, and not good enough for "serious" modellers to consider.

That F-15 also looks like it has the old style burner cans that haven't been used for about 20 years

I have to go with Nev on this one, Hobby Boss's easy build WWII planes came at a decent price for what they were, but their pricing for their easy build modern jets doesn't make any sense. For the price I've seen them at, you might as well just spring for a standard kit and glue.

Yeap kits like the A-7 Corsairs are great, but the Other modern jets are in the easy variety but priced the same.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed that the A-10s were in their Easykit range (upper-lower fuselage fit isn't that great, incidentally) but it was the only N/AW-10 I could get my hands on.  Doesn't make sense to me at all.

I buy all my HobbyBoss products right from Lucky Model.com where the selling price for the 1:72 modern jets ranges from $12 to $16 plus shipping.    Even with the shipping, I'd be paying more than that for any Tamiya or Hasegawa offerings at my LHS.

I was decidedly unimpressed when I noticed the A-10s as 'easy kits', even moreso when I realised that all of their available modern jets aren't supplied with anything in the way of stores (excepting the Hornets which have Tanks & HERs). 

Whilst I haven't spotted any HB kits at the LHS nearest to me (ie an hour's drive away), I think that online shopping would as Mr Mouse suggests be a lot cheaper than attempting to buy Hase kits here.  Some of the prices here in Australia for Hase kits are quite simply ridculous and salt is further rubbed in by their insistance in producing old kits with new decals and marketing them as 'new'.  You end up paying top dollar for one of their Bugs that started life as an A/B back in the 80s.

Given the real quality of their A-7s, I'm surprised that they've gone the 'easy kit' way with their remaining jets and they've obviously learnt from Hasegawa in not providing weapons to go with them.  Their only real bonus (beyond the only twin stick A-10 & possibly price) would be the fact that you get two decal options per build (except the N/AW) and both seem interesting enough to justify a purchase (ie: Aggressor F-15C, special Schemes on the -18s, Desert cammies for the A-10A, etc).

Whilst I'm unaware of the quality of their decals, these options could be worth the purchase in the long run.

I've never had a HB kit, so I wanted to clarify; these remarks are directed at their 1/72 stuff right?  I've been thinking of getting a Rafale, but not if it's going to be a poor quality easy-build kit for $40+.
