A review of the new Merkava IV in 35th on Modelling Madness.  Looks like another excellent kit from this crowd.

I had a look in the KA-29 box today and it is chock full of stuff, the weapons set with it looks very nice too some nice alternative stuff I have never seen before too. Enough to rearm several helicopters I dare say.

And I notice it's got AT-2 Swatters - one of the Flash-Gordonest missiles ever....

The kA-29 would make an excellent alternative to a Mil Mi-24/25/35 too, I am sure the spares from a Zvesda/Hobbyboss kit could provide the IR suppressors  for the exhausts and the flare dispensers. It already has enough fire power and the ability to carry a load of troops.
Hmm, now I have done it, I will have to acquire one now and make it into a Hind alternative ....

The latest preview has the following kits coming soon. In 1/48th are the Yak 38/38M Forger A, McDonnell F3H-2 Demon and Me 262A-1a/U5 with six 30mm guns (kit also includes four Ruhrstahl X-4 missiles though as far as I remember it didn't fly with these fitted when Heinz Bar flew it operationally in 1945). In 1/35th is the late production White scout car.

Sound!  Ta!

I'll be nabbing one of these soon.  Want to see if I can convert it to a 1052.

One of these is on the shopping list, so might be getting one this weekend. I already have a KA-29 built, so I suppose I could upgrade that with a big gun stuck out of it too  Looks like I will be stealing the one off my Puma-Hind. ;)

Hobby Boss is release a new M3A1 scout car 'Early Production'.  Quite early, given the crew on the box art aren't wearing M1 helmets and the 30cals on the skate rings are watercooled models.

The new Defender Wolf is available for review.  Looks a shade different to the Accurate Armour kit so I wonder if there were different versions of the baseline?

I think most versions in the field mount the spare on the side, not on the hood/bonnet. I got this kit last week from Jadar and it's really a beauty. The weapons look a little soft, though.
