supermarine Mk.22/24 and the Spitefull

hi all
knows anyone if the fuselage of the mk.22/24 spit is the same like in the spitefull/seafang?I have an old falcon vacu and would buy the airfix spit when it would be a help to build a seafang...

The only Spiteful that had a resemblance to the Spitfire was the first prototype which used a Mk.XIV fuselage plus the new wing.  This was lost early in it's development along with the chief test pilot.

Here is a model I built of it sometime ago, before I found that I could buy a Spiteful off the market.  This was modelled from a photo of the aircraft in William Green/Gordon Swansborough's The Complete Book of Fighters.
