Roswell, Texas is an online comic strip featuring a what-if world of an independent Texas and rather different North America....

For starters we have Malcolm X and Audie Murphy as Texas Rangers fighting to find a crashed UFO in the Federated States of Texas in 1947.
They need to do this before various forces of the gay Nazis of Reichsfuhrer King Edward VIII, the Californians led by General Marion Morrison and the French-Mexican Empire with De Gaulle get there first!

In this Texas you need a permit to NOT carry a gun and the phrase "What on Sam Hill..." has a whole new meaning!

It's written by L. Neil Smith, it can't help but be good.

I thought it was pretty hilarious.

Check out the latest chapter for the groovily painted Mexican Emperor's flying boat!

*chuckle* I've now read all of this one that's posted and the folks behind it have a twisted sense of humor I can appreciate.  Take those three Texas Rangers, in OTL the equivalent folk would be at each others' throats, not working together.  And the father of the artist responsible for "The Four Samuels"?  One wonders how Nazism developed without him.  Finally, I had to laugh at the General "Mike" Morrison et al. from California.  What's fascinating is how they've researched even the little details, like "Morty Mouse" instead of OTL's "Mickey Mouse', "Mortimer Mouse" ws WED's first choice for that character's name.

It is quite entertaining.  I am now hooked. B)

You did notice what President Lindbergh's bodyguard (at least I figure that is what the Sikh character is) said when drinking Prune Juice?    Gee, where have I heard that before?
