Remarkable subtlety.  You've got a real gift for capturing realism in scale.

Time for a new magazine cover...

Woah that's some amazing work Sisko!

This is gonna be one for the books!

P.S. Mr Howling Mouse, did I ever tell you about how I got a bunch of those Despair posters and replaced the regular motivational posters at work with them? I got Apathy, Mistakes, Disservice, Dysfunction and Incompetence. Funny thing was no one noticed.

So when's that chick w/t knitten club gonna show up?

Oh boy..... it has been a couple of modeling sessions that have tested my comitment as a modeler.

First of all while spraying the engine exhausts I spilled paint, Black paint mind you, from the cup of the airbrush onto the nice light grey underside. :o

Cleaned that up and finished then moved onto decalling. I am using a combination of the academy kit and airfix decals to give the fictional markings for my aircraft.

Sorry if I offend but using the airfix decals is akin to smashing your hand repeatedly with a hammer. Thick resisits setting solution and so out of register that when finished I had to poaint around the outside to remove the white strip!

Arrgggggg.

While I struggled with the decals I must have had some red paint on my thumb so now I have small red splotchs on the wings leading edges. Bloody hell!!!!!!

I was going to weather this thing before but now I have no choice.

After I called it quits before doing any more damage I went and poured a straight Jim Beam and tried to forget about it.

I can't even give you progress shots because my fricken camera is in for repairs.

I will see if I can borrow the work camera.

In addition to putting red paint on the leading edges I also knoked one of the pitot tubes off which was gobbled up by the carpet monster.

Barman...barman another please!!!

Sorry to hear you are having a "Richard Lewis" modeling day.

I think it was from a Cutting Edge after-market resin accessory that I got a small slip of paper with "Tip #23 Exercising Patience: When it isn't working out right simply put it down for a later time" nicely printed out.

I posted it in front of my basement workbench and it's been there ever since...

QuoteDoes BFG mean 'Big F*cking Gun'?

No, it mean Bio Force Gun. Haven't you seen DOOM??? ;)
Actually to sound a bit JMN, it's a 'Big Fraggin Gun' from the original game, I guess Bio Force Gun is the PC (and I mean politically correct) version of 2006.  Loved the game, movie etc.... Karl Urban was way cool... pity the Rock turned out bad...?
