Transportation Futuristics

Nice site, with plenty of designs from the 1950's future & a few from other eras.  Radio-beam powered ships, flying saucer airliners, tubine engined cars & plenty more.  Tons of whiffing potential!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Too cool, and a ton of ideas to be stolen..erm..inspired by!

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

I like the Ground Effect Machines, by now we all should be driving around in Star Wars Landspeeders!

Why just pop down to a nearby recruiting office and in 6 months you can fly about in one of these for free. Mind the RPGs though...

I'm still waiting for each of those personal flying machines that Popular Mechanics kept promising us every couple of months.

What a lot of them fail to realise is that most people can't even drive a car properly (hell, most can't even walk properly), and you wnat to fill the skies with dingbats like that?

Some cool looking stuff in there though. And ya gotta love those 1930s art deco style paintings, like the one of the lifeboats coming off the back of the ship!

About the best chance we've got is the Moller M400 Skycar.  I remember there was a lot of hype a few years ago about this, the company were saying it would revoloutionise transport.  Well they would wouldn't they, & we've heard it all before but I still want one!

It still might happen Rat!  Probably around the time we get the jet boots....

If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die
