I am a little slow posting these as the show was back on Sept 23rd and the pics were online that night but better late than never (also how I model).

Show was pretty good with some great quality kits on the tables.  According to the NUSMA web site http://www.nusma.org/ there were 85 entrants and 428 entries.  I counted a little over 460 models including what was in the collections category.

Best Aircraft was Mike Smith's A-7D Corsair II in 1/72nd

Here is a sample of some of the other nice builds.

32nd scale Flanker was not entered

I liked the scheme on Brian's 109

Mike made the trip from Calgary and managed a 1st with this nice P-26 and several other trophies

Jerry's Syrian T-34/85 was the best armor piece but since there was no best diorama, his Desert Storm dio took the Best Armor category

Nice detail on the AM/ERTL Rebel Snowspeeder

My daughters Ladybug didn't place but I liked it.  From the Heller kit.

See the rest of the models on our site:

There are pics of the winners on the nusma site (see above)

and some more pics are up on Brian Geiger's site

Wow....some great work there !

I love that T-34/85....looks like the real thing ! The Lady Bug is cute, how old is she ?

Some of the stuff from the home page is wicked as well, like the FAA Corsair, the Belgian Spit, and that Bear is to die for !

Thanks for sharing !

Shas,
All the pics I took are on the site.
One of the Buffs took first in the category and its pic is on the NUSMA site (not the easiest to navigate but I will try to post the pic.

Whoa, that was huge,  how about just a link

Thats better.

CC, the lady bug builder turns 9 on the 20th.  I posted pics of her pink Spit earlier this year if you recall.

Jerry's T-34 is awesome.  Did a pretty full interior for it mostly out of scratch except the engine which was a cheap resin kit ($5).  There are some build pics throughout the meeting pics on the site.

There were 4 what if models entered (my ROK F-47 taking the much coveted 4th place) and a collection of Stealth aircraft models (you know, the kits that weren't correct).

There are also some Atlantic Wall bunkers in the dio area.  They were in 1/144th scale with pretty full interiors.  Nice stuff.

Couldn't find any but some of the club may send me pics to add to the site.
Will let you know if I get one (think the one on the stand was 1/200 scale).
