hi
this day another vacu...
the fireball is one of my favourire aircrafts and I was thinking it was smaller!!!!
its like a corsair but the fuselage is something thicker.
it will be build as a -4 version of this type which was 100mph faster as the -1 version because the better jet engine...
it was planned to use the -1 as a Nightfighter so my idea is to make this -4 version as a N and add a radar pod under the wing...I was planing to add the F4U-5N radar pod but it looks to big on the small fireball wing...
my idea is to install the bearcat cowling (two in one kit are included) with the 2800 engine and a four bladed prop...
some work was needed and stil required but...its funny to build vacu kits  ;)
I have much time at work at home during plotting the architectural plans and so its much time to build...this was made in one night....
hope you like it

hi all dreamers and wiffers
long time ago I started this vacu kit and now its ready for the painting....
added the tail fin under the fuselage. its the fairing of the hook.the fireballs problem was the landing because the landing hook was to much ahead and it has the tendency to tilt over the front landing strut which cracked under the pressure.

Marvelous build.

Peter, How do you manage to present your builds in so pristine and clean condition even in the assembly stage?.

I know it sounds strange, but I'm a messy modeller.

I favor more the AC-119 prop.

I think he spends alot more time making it clean, than we do building the kit

I like prop 1 the best

And that rocket reminds me of the La-7R

wolfik

yes...its true...I work clean during building...and I sand all the parts under water.
dont like the mess and its not healthy to inhalate the sanded material...
at the time I work only with gunze fluid putty.
the green putty is not bad too but its cavernous after drying and sometimes must be sealed with gunzes fine putty again...so double work expectedly...
best regards and thanks for the comments
