Looking for bomber/attack USAAC decals in 1/72. Can anybody point me to a manufacturer of same? I had one of those "ideas" again.  :D  I've started the model, shoving aside others once more.   Big backstory, lots of whiffery potential.

Several things:

1.  The USAAC ceased to exist in 1941.  You possibly mean the USAAF?

2.  Your request is about as generic as they come.  About the only common markings on USAAF bomber/attack a/c were the stars & bars.  Everything else was unique to each type or the individual unit or individual aircraft.

What exactly are you shooting for??

Cheers,

J

I like the sound of "Army Air Corps" better than "Force".  ^_^ Closer to their fellow gro-pos in the USMC.

Coastal defence units.

All will be explained in the backstory.

Eagle Strike does a sheet of U.S.A.A.C. star-and-meatball insignia in 1/72 scale that are various sizes. I got a sheet of them off Squadron a while back. There's also a product out there called Yellow Wings but I think they primarily focus on U.S. Navy stuff and mostly in 1/48 scale.

If your needs are more specific, try posting over on Swap Shop. You never know who might be able to help.
