Thanks for the comment Rafael ;)

i'm back in order to speak about the paint scheme of the thing!!

I already start to splinter it!!!!!! Yes! I did splinter!!! Thanks JHM for the Tamyia Tape, I'm sure that I coul'd did it without it!!

Sadly, I have some problems with the camera, but there are some drawing of my work:

That's all I did for the moment. The result is not perfect, but not bad at all!! Remember that the paint scheme in the back story was quickly done by ground crews in order to increasing the camouflage of the little jet! (As some of you can remember, I initially planed a sand/black stained scheme... But JHM's gift change my plans ;) )

For the following, I'm still not sure about what I have to do in order to finish the camo. Here are the different possibilities:

Scheme 1:

A darker green on the tail and the back of the wings.

Scheme 2:

Some black replacing some dark green. I find it cool, but maybe the weathering will be more difficult with this.

Scheme 3:

The easier one! But still quite cool. If I chose this one, I will have a lot of place on the wings to put a "Delta Force" logo and it could be a good oportunity to try some weathering stuffs. So, less beautiful, but could be cooler...

Lets go folks! Just tell me whicj one you prefer!!

Way to go!!! Splinter is sexy, and is demonstrated to increase an aircraft's performance by 100%, so Go With It!!!

French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Quick question - does anybody know if A-37s flew real-world missions with one pilot?

My vote is for scheme #2, PD7! I really like the darker green in the back.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your progress.

I pretty sure they did.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Perhaps extend the splinter effect more onto the wings for breakup of pattern?

Hello everybody!!

I just want to told you that I have some in-progress pics to show you, but I have a lot of connection problems with the forum (and only this one, sadly :(  )

So, I'll do as soon as possible, but for today it will be difficult!!

I precise that for the moment, I chose a sand camo with black and green splinter stuffs (Scheme 2) and I extend the splinter camo to the entire plane (exept the underwing and under fuselage that are painted in light grey)

See you soon!

I'm with Jeff, I'm just BURSTING to see this beaut done! Best of luck, Yannick! I just love the A-37, and I'm thinking this will be the best model of it EVER!

Cheers,

Zac

Here are the pictures of the final camo!!!

It was my first atempt to do a splinter, and I admit that I'm quite proud of the result! It's not perfect, but well, it's mine!!

And I precise that after having painted a so small aircraft, I have a full admiration for the one of you who use to work on 1:144 scale!!

Hope you enjoy the result!!

As you can see, the plane is not finished yet.
I still have to paint the canopy, to glue the pylons and to scratch-build the weapons!!
Moreover, I'll try to do a quite different scheme for the external tanks, but it seems that it will be more difficult than what I supposed initially...

Friday, I'll be in Paris, and I will buy the stuffs I need for the home made decals.
