Which of these sets of decals is more accurate for a 70s French aircraft?  The paler blue or the darker blue?

Ones on the right Nev.  I don't think the French have ever used the darker blue you see on British roundels.

Do a check on Airliners.net.  In the Photo search engine, select France-Air Force under Airline & 'All 1970's' under date.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The Super Mystere B-2 decals! The plane was still in service at the time...
you need to have a yellow "border" (well, a yellow circle around the roundel, it disapeared in the 80's or so)
Can I ask you what are you planning ?  ^_^
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Thanks guys.  Archie, the yellow ring is there, it just doesn't show up in this picture.  Oh, and its for my TSR2 (see GB forum)

What next, a British Mirage?  Is nothing sacred?  Next thing you know the Brits and the French will start liking each other, then it's all down hill!
