What do you plan to build in near future?

I have several builds in mind but the best is a a modern VSTOL fighter. That or a AH-58 mixed with an Apache's weapons systems.

Another idea of mine is the build a Convair B-58 Hustler and have the engines mounted in pairs, then add fuselage weapons pylons instead of the mission pod. The nose could house the cameras and the tail gun replaced by ECM. The tips of the delta wing have a pair of sidewinder missiles and instead of being a three seater make it into two.
As for my Monogram 1/72 B-1B, first thought was to add the wings from a C-135. If I can get a Vulcan kit, I might combine the two.
My C-135RF was gong to be a maritime patrol version, but as I haven't found a RC-135V/W kit I might have a go and scratch build one. Another though was using the fuselage as a wide-bodied C5 Comet, fitting the Nimrod wings and tail, undercarriage.

I also have similar plans in mind for the forthcoming Airfix 1/72 Spitfire 22 - a sort of twin boom effort a la P-38. Need 3 kits for that one!!

Been there, done that.  ;D

Why would you need three kits? I admit I used parts from five different marks, but two F22s should be enough I'd have thought.

Dam I was looking at a twin Mustang and thought I had an origional idea, (not something I do too often) Doh!
I am building a Rhodesian Impala I with some combat mods, and am thinking of a Mirage IIIE of the Rhodesian AF. Ex SAAF - when they started the Cheetah program the E's were withdrawn for use as "advanced trainers", honest guv!

Radish

Currently working through A-10s.....

1 x 2-seater to be possibly Irish Air Corps
2 x A-10As....USAF(SEA Asia) and USAF (56th FG retro)??

2 x A-10As....flying mode....RAF Gulf War and RN attack on France.

3 x A-10B 2-seaters and 2 x A-10As......pending.

Also have an Airfix 1/72nd Boston III in build for "Biggles"...some mods made.
Once you've visited the land of the Loonies, a return is never far away.....

Nothing wrong with doing another one, different or similar.

I've just got the Airfix F22 and it'd be a lot easier with that than the mixture of stuff I used for the F32. I think I used 2 x Aeroclub vacform F24 fuselages, 2 x Airkit F21 wings, and 2 x Heller XIV for bits and pieces.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Aeroclub never did an F22/24 fuselage.  Latest he did was a PR19.  By the looks of it, those are the F18 fuselages.  And you mean a Heller 16, although the radiators in that kit are more suitable for a Griffon aircraft.

Whatever, I built the thing a LONG time ago and I didn't take notes............... <sigh>

Check out the list in my profile.  There's a few others on the go/on the 'to do' list that aren't mentioned!

RN COD Rotodyne, for the group build.

Then I'm pulling out started models and getting onto them. I've a real-world USS Midway and USS Saratoga, an alternate Su-34, some little tanks to diorama-ize, and I don't remember what else sitting in boxes. I've been bad about starting and then abandoning projects (no, I know that's not unusual  ) plus I can finish them faster and make room in the closet for more purchases!
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

McColm

1/24 Car-boat with a Merlin engine. 1/24 Range Rover 4x4, 1/72 Lifeboat hull, 1/24 steering wheel, seats, glazing. Loads of chrome, exhaust pipes. Decking real wood veneer, headlights and tail lights, prop/screws, rudder.
Based on a real-world design.

NARSES2

Well 2 Spitfires, 1 real, real Mosquito and a Beaufighter which will just about be a wif. Then like Joe P I must look at some of my partial builds
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Ditto, minimum of three Rotodynes planned.  I normally don't post in here because any plans I have are usually scattered to the winds shortly after, but these will happen.  I've got a couple of real world JB Models light guns to finish first, then a Hobby Boss Sabre that's two-thirds done.  Then the Rotodynes, two Airfix, one Revell.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Thorvic

Got a couple to finish off and looking to start an Avro 768 AEW aircraft next month for Project Cancelled.
Currently its a mixed bag of real, projects and whifs in the works which need to get finished, although the new Airfix Skyhawk being done with Freighdogs update set and Xtradecals A-4Q Argentine Navy markings is taking most of my attention
