What do you plan to build in near future?

The Wooksta!

Apart from finishing off Spitfires - ten or so in the last week - I don't plan on anything other than a Matchbox Tempest as I now have the decals I wanted.  A Canberra B(I)8 is on the cards in a simple silver scheme but I need to find my Frog one first - the only upgrade work it'll get is new nosewheels and an Aeroclub bang seat.  Just want a quick simple build.

There's an Avro project I have part started that I'd like to have ready to prime in a few weeks, hence clearing the decks of Spitfires, and one that's done I'll be waiting for the Airfix Beaufighter.  May build a pair of Hasegawa ones alongside it.

I'd like to take on a vacform kit. I've seen the Falcon Triple Conversion vacform range and was thinking of getting the Grumman C-2A FNC009 pack with the AD-5W Skyraider, can't remember what the third conversion is.
As there's an interesting Whiff design with the Greyhound and the Rotodome from the Hawkeye on the upper fuselage. This would mean buying another Hawkeye kit , Viking S-3 in order to build an ASW version as well.
As I haven't seen the Hasegawa EP-3 Orion in the shops, the Falcon FNC002 will be used on the Revell Atlantic. The Rotodome off the Hawkeye, doesn't sit right on the upper fuselage. Considerering building a taller stand.

NARSES2

Well once the current 3 are finished I'm going to start my Bombay.

I didn't think it would be a wif but I got confused, it was a Heyford that was used as a medi-vac aircraft immediately after D-Day. So I will be doing a wif Bombay after all
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

On the Thames there were at least 2 or 3 Vosper MTB hulls turned into house boats.  I always thought that was a waste.

Not quite, MTB 219 has been rescued after being condemned and her hull has now been rebuilt, to allow her to be restored to her original guise and be used on the water with the rest of their boats

Missed this before.  Good news.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

With Revell releasing the heavy wrecker this fall I think I might finally start to build a wireline logging unit.

Need to complete a few....Hurricanes, a Bf-109G, a Zero-ish, an Fw-190A...all in 1/48th and primed.
Then there's the DC-7C...again primed. This is the VTOL version.

But then, a Tornado F.3 in Czech markings, and an A-84N.....possibly :o :o

Eh????  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

DC-7 isn't that a stretched DC-6 with similar wings and engines to the Super Constellation. VTOL?
Swivel wings like the Hiller/Ryan and a small rotor at the rear.
Works on a C-130, the C-160 Heller kits look similar to the F-8 Crusader wing layout for landing and take offs.

My version of the LTV
XC-142A using a C-130 as the donor aircraft. Depending on the kit bought, the shoulder mount for the wings can be drilled and a dowell threaded through to connect the wings so they both swivel at the same time (could be glued in the vertical take off position). A smaller rotor fitted at the rear behind the tail.
Loads of orange-red paint applied to an aluminum fuselage depends on the colour scheme.

A Super Hornet ---- the De Havilland variety  ----  ;)

Along with a Griffon engined F-82 with Brit radar and drop tank equipment --

I like that idea , a Griffon F 82 , I've got something very similar in the pipeline.

What cowling are you going to use, this is my idea, the Griffon being in the port side and using modified Shackleton props as well  ---

PR19_Kit

Which Griffon cowling did you use there Robert?

It looks pretty darn good, and MILES better than that blasted Allison they sicked upon the P-82 with the later versions.

It comes from the Firefly Mk.IV kit Kit (  ;D ), which happens to fit quite well but I did add a couple of pieces of thick styrene card just to lengthen it (I cut it off in the wrong place). Going to use the wing pods from the kit too (or some castings of them)

I've got this project going too -- F-82 with the Merlins ( I made some castings of the P-51H cowling which is shown on the starboard side in the previous post)
