I find it best not to write it down as as soon as i do it becomes the kiss of death for that model  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
Everything looks better with the addition of British Roundels!

JayBee

Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

Gondor

I plan to build like Jaybee but I will be building SomeThings and Some Other Things  ;D

Gondor

My Ability to Imagine is only exceeded by my Imagined Abilities

Gondor's Modelling Rule Number Three: Everything will fit perfectly untill you apply glue...

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

PR19_Kit

What a coincidence, I'm going to be building A Few Things Some Other Things as well? We'll have our own Theme Build running...........  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

NARSES2

I'll join as I'll be building bits and bobs and this and that  ;D

Same with me mate

Obviously with everything that's going-on in the Hunter-Gatherer family modelling is a VERY low priority for this year, however I do have plans - oh yes   - for when things settle down.

Project One - Some Gnats
New Airfix kits - simply painted differently - RSAF as a lead-in for their Hunters (yes they did have them in the real world, but only briefly), in the same scheme as their Strikemasters. Possibly a Japanese one if I can find some suitably sized unit markings - alternatively I could swipe the RNZAF decals from the reissued Airfix Strikemaster and do a 'local' one.

Project Two - Rafale's
My favourite of the 5th gen' fighters, and a great value kit by RoG. Two seater and single seaters planned. Not giving anything away in regard to colours and markings in case it all goes-to-poo, but you may be entertained... maybe  ;). One will be in the colours of a European nation, the other will not  .

Project Three A - RAAF F-5F
Remember when the RAAF trialled all those low-vis camo schemes on their Mirages in the late eighties... What if they'd trialled them on their F-5's instead then adopted one of them for their current 'fighter-of-choice'...

...which leads to:
Project Three B - RAAF Eurofighter
Now this will be a l-o-n-g way down the list, but I have plans for either the two-seater that I bought at Telford for very few pounds or the single-seater that's been hogging the stash since it first came-out. These plans also include a loadout of realistic, 'contemporary' weapons, but perhaps not what you may expect !!

Finally, and even further down the line:
Project Four - The inevitable FAA F-18F
C'mon dont tell me you haven't thought about it too   - But TBH giving such a 'grey' plane the * * W O W * * factor may be difficult, hence I'm giving this one a lot of thought...

...any help would be welcomed.

Forgot to add into my 'plans' reply from earlier:

Project Five - Big Brown Tank
Take one set of Bison decals for Israeli AFV's, one old Heller Leopard 1A5 and a couple of bottles brown & grey acrylic paints... I've even thunk-up a back-story for this one !!

:tank:

I've thought of using my HP Victor and merging with a C-69 Connie. Then I could use the spare Spey engines from my stash and build a five engined SS Nimrod or six engined beasty.

The Wooksta!

If and when I ever shake the Spitfire bug, there's a Sea Meteor I want to do, probably with an FR nose and an unusual scheme.  Plus a Lancastrian with Merlin 85s that got abandoned some time back is high on the list.

Plus all the hangar queens, especially the Tempests.

A Sea Meteor in an 'unusual scheme'... Hmmm... Korean War maybe ??, or Suez ??

The Wooksta!

Not really unusual in that sense of the word.  It's actually quite standard, but not all on one machine, if you see what I mean.  Think patchwork quilt.

If I had the resin to do the cockpit bits, I may be tempted to make a start on it.

With the WWI anniversary coming up, maybe a Royal Naval Air Service special scheme?  The RN tend to be low key with their special schemes, so a few stripes & colouful markings from a personal scheme over the standard grey, full colour roundels and full length rudder stripes?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Radish

Lots of steampunk stuff....just made a Steam-powered Gloster Gladiator sesquiplane for zero-launched from a steam-driven Sherman. British, of course.

Then....lots of other things....
