May also do a small fleet of Trumpeter Gato boats.  One pink, one stock, one modernized.

And Hedged- that NJSP Hurri would be perfect for beach patrol right now

Relocating the hobby room itself.  It wasn't Sandy but family.  :-\
At least I'll be able to reorganize the kit closet, sort out what I actually have, see what's close to finishing so I can then buy more!
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Go4fun

I'm all about building a space freighter. Totally out of my comfort zone but then what da he11?
"Just which planet are you from again"?

The Wooksta!

Finishing the half dozen or so Spitefuls that have littered the workroom for some time, plus the few Spitfires that never got finished in time for Telford.  I'd really like these out of the way before I start work on the 2013 incarnation of The Plan.

But before I do start anything for next year, I must finish at least one of the four Lancaster based projects that have stalled. And those Tempests too.

McColm

A flying aircraft carrier similar to Sky Captain or the  one in the Avengers film.

Dizzyfugu

Currently working on a MiG-37 conversion (imagine that: a whiffy fantasy aircraft... ), and I already have my mind set on a MiG-21 conversion (from a Matchbox kit) into a Chinese J-7FS, as a front line interceptor with some other mods. Bears some potential:

Radish

Finish a PB-1G-ish....
Finish a trio of Sea Furies eventually.
Finish an F-4D that's been around for ages.

Start some Biggles things, like a steampunked Hawk 75 in Norwegian colours.
Start a steampunked Fw-190A in late war colours.

;D
Once you've visited the land of the Loonies, a return is never far away.....

Still His (or Her) Majesty, Queen Caroline of the Midlands, Resident Drag Queen

The Wooksta!

Finished the pair of Spitfire FRXIIIs that missed Telford yesterday.  Just had to sort out the canopies.

THIS!

Lord, its a biggun.  I'm thinking an OOB build.  Unless someone can point me in the direction of 1/72 25mm Bushmasters and Phalanxes.

You're SOL for 1/72 Phalanx, but there is a 1/35 version but it will set you back about $155  :-\

If you do go OOB and feel like detailing that beast you might want to watch this thread over on Model Warships.

You forgot about the R/C model warship crowd, they do various fixtures and fittings of various quality  ;D

Plan wise

Wellington ACI using Airfix(MPM) kit and Lonewulf Conversion for project cancelled SIG
Hawkeye E2K RAF land based hawkeye
Avro 768 RN AEW eqivilant of Hawkeye but based on compact HS-748

And in the New Year
Vulcan MPA - BAE Woodford design based on the Vulcan B2 with an MPA fuselage as have scale drawings sourced from Avro Heritage

Inspiration struck: I recently got a 1:200 scale Avro Vulcan from Dragon with the plan to convert it into a 1:72 scale aircraft.
Have been looking for a concept, though, but now found the perfect paradigm: the EFW N-20 from Switzerland

It won't become a 1:1 copy, I'll rather create a later interpretation with a single engine in the tail (EFW P-16 era, maybe a contender to the Hunter?) - but this looks promising and challenging

The Wooksta!

Forgot to mention that I'd also finished a trio of Spitefuls (again, canopies held everything up) plus the Admiral Spitfire 24 and Seafire 46.  The former is bang on real 80 Sqn at Hong Kong markings, it's only the two red star kill markings under the cockpit that mark it out as a whiff.
