The Heller 1/72 Nord Nortlas looks like it could be whiffed by having a pair of Griffon engines and replacing the fuselage with a C-160 or C-130 minus the vertical tail fin and minus the landing gear with the doors glued shut.
The wing of the Nord could be replaced by the C-160, thus keeping the T-56 engines or two auxiliary turbo jets engines as the Nord used in its passenger airliner versions.
The C-160 could have the cockpit re-positioned above the fuselage by cutting the Nord fuselage in half to form the upper deck and hinged front doors.

My version of the ATL-98 Carvair in 1/72 scale. Although Roden has the model in 1/144 scale, I feel that a 1/144 Boeing 747 with a DC-4 wing or in my case the wings of a P-3 Orion.
The surface windows would need filling in and rescribed, the nose section cut in two to make the camshell doors. The Orion wing would be assembled and the 747 fuselage placed on top, gaps to be filled and loading ramps added. A suitable paint job and cockpit windows painted in.

Saves me cutting up my 1/48 B-29.

at the moment Im scratch building a 1/72 German 1946 E-5 kleinpanzer also sculpting a crew to go with it. I also have a 1/400 Boeing 747 AAC on the way but I think it to small I like to do it in 1/144 model instead

planned things are zeppelin aircraft carrier or a sub aircraft carrier not sure yet maybe both or 1/72 OV10X that would also be nice

I'm currently back at work on my British Army M113s and will finish them before doing anything else. I then plan to do an FAA Gramman Panther and possibly an F-11 Tiger for the "Coulda Woulda Shoulda" GB over on BTS. I'll then probably do something for their Scottish Independence GB: can't not really, since it was my idea... All these models will appear on here as well of course.....

After that, hopefully, some of the Tank Girl stuff I've been going on about....

The Wooksta!

Just glued together some of the cockpit interiors for 6 Spitfire PR19s plus a Spitfire HFXIVe.

The Doyusha Ford Capri mk I I got a few days back is now steeping in the third application of Fairy Power Spray.

Got an idea for a 'special' Reno Racer in the real Unlimited class. More or less an OOB kit with small detail changes, and a ...local paint scheme (as motivator for the respective GB).

Still have the swept-wing Skyknight on the agenda. Parts are there, but no fire burning for it yet.

Had the sick idea of a single-engined MiG-29 recently, as an export fighter (which was acuatally on the drawing board!).

Another vague project is a jet fighter flying boat in USN colors, kind of escort for the SeaMaster. Parts are there, too, but the potential heavy bodywork keeps me off...  :-\

A simpler idea is a WWII fighter from the Netherlands, built in British exile for the South East Indies theatre. Will be a slightly modified OOB kit - an exotic basis in different guise with an appropraite story. Nothing fancy, but I want to build "something" with orange triangles...

And then there's the idea of an upgraded Saab J29 Tunnan - with two(!) afterburner engines and wings with a stronger sweep, so that it would be able to become supersonic. Vague, but on the list.

With MANY more.

Just received a large box of spares or a little repair.
All ten models have been hand painted but not to a high standard .Most will need repainting and a little work to get them back to former glory.
The Comet is the old Frog 1/96 in BOAC colours, needs TLC .Got the same kit in my stash .
Two Sunderlands need propellers ,floats and landing gear sorted out. Will be looking for dock or harbour scenery .
Ju-88 needs landing gear
Skyvan repainting
DC-47 propellers ,repainting
Catalina will be raided for parts, a whif  project .
Tristar is not 1/72 and too big for 1/144. Needs repainting and a little filler.
Lancaster ,aftermarket kits needed, whif project .
Trident needs repainting 1/144

Giant cargo carrier by joining two Airfix 1/72 Short Sunderlands by a common central wing rear loading ramp. Something similar to Saunders Roe Princess cargo carrier twin hull idea.

McColm

I've seen pictures of the AW/HS 681 and a lined drawing of the AW/HS 802. I thought of using the Revell 1/144 C-17 and the wings from a DH Comet if I can get the kit. Otherwise I will use the
Frog 1/96 DH Comet wings as it is such a large kit the different scale wings won't look out of place .

Captain Canada

I plan on building everything. And nothing.

I have an idea to put a pair of YF-23 wings on a Harrier GR9, they are almost the same size as the X-32. I will graft on the remaining parts of the Airfix wing .

V/STOL Eurofighter using Yak-38 parts. Will build Yak-38 with parts from a Jaguar kit.

1/144
Airfix SR N4 Hovercraft will get metal propellers, loading ramp and N scale vehicles .
