What do you plan to build in near future?

The Wooksta!

After fighting the Magna Buckmaster and Brigand, my confidence is at a low ebb and I really just want to do something simple and easy.  Part of me would like to just build an Airfix PR19 Spitfire straight from the box, preferably in NMF as Powles aircraft from the new Airfix kit.  However, my wallet is exceedingly reluctant to spend a tenner on a kit that I have approx 60 of in the stash (thanks to Home Bargains flogging them for less than £3!) just for a serial code that I'm sure I have on two decals sheets in the stash anyway.

Failing that, I may dig out a Rareplanes Firebrand TF5 and do that.  Although I may go for a nice NMF finish with type C1 markings rather than a more usual post war RN scheme.

I'm with the Wooksta - I'm taking every part-built kit one at a time and finishing it.
Just finished my BBG-66 Kentucky, gave up planning to rig it since it is at that point where every time I touch it I knock or bend a bit. Think I'll give it to a museum since it is based on a real plan for that ship.
There's the real world HMS Jersey destroyer, a Whiff Naval Mark I tank/land ship, real world USS New Jersey in Vietnam with her escort DDG USS Towers. She also served with USCGC Owasco but no one makes a model of that.
Then I have USS Midway in 1983 to go with my 1983 USS NJ, a NJ ANG Constellation, and

After that I will FINALLY feel free to buy more parts for unstarted kits, including a Fletcher class DD, a Cleveland class CL, an old Aurora USS Guadalcanal LPH, and then...
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

What if you crossed the Avro Lancaster with the Avro Shackleton MR.2.
If I used the Airfix Lancaster BII  and the Airfix Shackleton kit. Lancaston or Shackaster.
By using the Shackleton fuselage , engines and twin tail fins with the Lancaster wing and guns. The nose would be extended to house the gun turret.

I'd like to build the Avro Shackleton MR.I by using the AlleyCat conversion.

This might sound weird, fitting the Revell 1/72 Breguet Br1150 Atlantic with four Rolls-Royce Griffon engines instead of the two RR Tyne's.
I have seen line drawings of the Atlantic fitted with a pair of turbofan engines.

i have a lot of plans for 1/144 and 1/72 stuff, mostly realworld.

at the moment, im wrking on a 1/72 Junkers EF128 as part of my Luft46 collection, might be more coming up soon.

in WHIF, i have various plans.

in 1/144 im planning RAF an F-104K Starfighter F.Mk.3, FAA E-2C Hawkeye EAW.2, unknown Vicker Vanguard variants (Transport, AEW or MPA), Airbus A320 in RAF Air Support Command colors, replacement for the V-Force (Vanquish B.1 (Concorde Bomber with external Skybolt missiles (RetroKit)) and Vindicator B.1 (unknown bomber variant, propably an A320 or VC-10 based bomber).

other plans include a 1/72 Belgian Vampire FB.15 (based on the T.11), Jet Provost, H135M, Tiger-MRH, F-35A, A400M (in 1/72 and 1/144).
next in line is an Airbus A300-MRTT and A400M, both in 1/144.
on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

The Wooksta!

I really don't know.  tempted to pack it all away for a bit.  Just not happy with quite a few builds.

When I get home get back to the interrupted builds and then a couple of butterfly tail 109's

The Wooksta!

Add the tail of one to a late model airframe.  A G-10 or K perhaps.  Possibly an S-199.

I've been thinking about getting the Vee tail kit and bashing it with the long winged kit.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

There's some concept artwork of a VC10 with a double-bubble fuselage from the HS/BAe Nimrod. I have both kits in 1/72 vacform. I would go for the maritime patrol version.

If I ever get my mojo back, revised Luftpanzer 1, with Panther suspension (rear drive sprockets) and 88 or 105mm armed Sheridan turret.

Define 'near'.............

I've just re-started work on my Mach2 Martin Seamaster. Woe, oh woe is me............  :banghead:

I'm not sure whether it will be continued or moved to feature in yet another version of this thread in years to come, every single part just doesn't fit, to ANY other part!!!!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Whilst recovering from surgery.....a Lindberg Douglas Stiletto in His Majesty's Spaceforce  colours as an exoatmosphere interceptor  ......and possibly a 1/48 Gladiator as flown by the Royal Marines in Norway in 1940

Well both the AZ V tail 109's and H kits are very nice and come with loads of spares. You could quite easily do a "mix and match", end up with two different models that might confuse a few and still have loads left
