Been on line and the AROnline website caught my eye.
They have articles of post-production cars all be it for the British market with export possibilities.
Getting hold of anything in plastic especially British Leyland or BMC in 1/24 or 1/25 is proving difficult unless the vehicle was used in motorsport.
I would have thought Honda would be a good starting point but these too are limited.
From time to time a resin bodyshell  turns up which just needs a donor kit.
Just found Megahobby.com,  Jim Flinstone does a range of  1/24 and 1/25 resin car bodies which might help or be a good start for future Whiffs.

Came across the Swiss FFA P-16 ground attack aircraft. Looks like the Swift at certain angles. JETS magazine pages 68-73 July/August 2015.

When the Swiss Mirage project had stalled in the mid-1960s, GE offered a J79 on lease ( free? ) for FFA to relaunch the P-16.  I think it was proposed as AJ-79 and would have switched over to export once the Swiss Mirages finally entered service.

Would have made a great attack complement to the Mirage III.

The original P-16 had some flight-critical Lear avionics onboard, hence the Lear Jr test-flights.

And there is/was a 1/72 kit of it available at some point in time.

The first Lear Jet's wings were developed from the P-16's design too. What goes around comes around.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I was thinking of converting the Revell  1/72 Avro Shackleton AEW.2 into the MR.2 variant. Got some leftover parts from the AeroClub mixed media set.

Erm, why?  Just buy the Airfix MR2 off the shelf!

Because he has the bits, doesn't want to buy the Airfix kit .....and being McColm doesn't believe in doing the straightforward easy option?!  ;) ;D :o

I've got the Airfix Avro Shackleton MR.2 in the stash and I will use that with the AlleyCat MR.1/T.4 conversion set to build the MR.1 Shackleton as the Revell kit is too wide for the new nose to fit.
I also have a Frog MR.3 to complete the set.

My intentions are to build the kits in my stash first before buying anything new or secondhand.

Thank you!!  That will do nicely.
