Finished my Revell 1/72 Cromwell.  Weathering is maybe a little heavy, was trying to go for that "caked in dust" Normandy look.  I was also experimenting with different backgrounds for the photo, hence the weird variation in colours & brightness.  Some of you may recognise the diorama base ;)

The model is superb, one of the best I have ever built - any subject, any scale.  Biggest problem was getting the Allied Stars to conform to rivets and things  :(

Otherwise I rate this model alongside the Tamiya 1/48 Mosquito & Revell 1/32 Hunter as the best kit I've had the pleasure of building.  Already planning a second one in winter camo.  Then maybe a Russian one as supplied by the Canadians for use as a light recon tank........ ;)

Superb.  I think the weathering is spot-on, too.  Love the way the diorama's hues are all so nicely blended together yet distinct enough to pick out the details.

Good job, Nev.  I liked it so much I "vintaged" one of your images.

Seriously believe you can pull off museum-quality builds on anything you set your mind to.

Wow Nev, that's one great looking Cromwell! I think your weather on it is incredibly realistic! I'm looking forward to seeing some of your other armor ideas completed.

Looks great! after weathering my 1/72 panzer I can definately say you did a great job here! I think weathering such a small subject is a bit tricky but you pulled it off nicely.

Thanks guys, it helps when you have great models to work with (and that goes for the AB Figures as well).

For the weathering, I used the pigments from MiG Productions.   Highly recommended, and very easy to use.  They certainly make a difference  B)

Nice one Nev   - must get mine out of the stash
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Good one Nevvie!

nev,
The first two pictures look really good, the lighting is just right and makes the colors in the scene look very realistic.

nev,
I hope you don't mind if I took one of your pictures and aged it a bit...but as you can see it shows how realistic looking your dio is.
