John Howling Mouse

Quote1/ For the name, it seems you are joking but I do not understand the joke. Your birthname is not John so what is "my birthname John"...?  And what is the relation to Vitamin B2 (riboflavin)? Well, don't explain with further jokes and grins, simply say "B.S." or else "J.H.M", and I will transmit... :)
2/ For the paper/file, I am not the one saying I prefer paper to scan rather than direct file, it seems absurd to me. But this is what requires my publisher, that had printing problems in the past with the printing company. So: send me the file by Email and I will print it and I will send it. All right?
3/ Thinking about it, I am rather surprised that the T-tail could be considered as invented in 1932. We will read the book, you and I dear JHM, but what to do with the FB.5 of 1914, with the HB W-12 of 1917? Well both were T but had no free fin holding tailplanes above the fuselage. Has none ever been met before 1932? Is the Westland Whirlwind the first mass-produced one? JHM, as Worldwide T-tail expert, tell us, please... :P
1. Oh well, use JHM, then.  The other folks from the pod back on the homeworld won't know who "JHM" is but that's alright.

2. I'll e-mail you some pics to home.  I realize you're not the one asking for paper but if he's going to scan any printed image, he automatically loses on resolution four-fold: i. printed image will not be up to the resolution or color density of the original digital image; ii. scan will pixelate, losing further resolution and start to look like a dot-matrix print-out; iii. when he uploads to any online storage system, he will again lose image quality (color and resolution); iv. if he intends to print it as a hardcopy, he will lose image quality a fourth time.

Say, this whole process could really make my model look a lot better than it really is!   ;)

3. I know nothing about T-Tails other than the scientifically proven fact that T-Tails automatically increase the coolness factor of any aircraft by 2000%

Thanks for the pictures, dear. My very favourite is entitled "f-16t-tail_2 by Black Ops". Do I say: <<1/48 model made by John Howling Mouse, picture improved by Black Ops>>? I don't know if the publisher will select this picture or fear of a Copyright on the background...
I agree completely with you that recreating a file, printed/scanned makes it more blurred than the original, but let us be happy to be published, trusting this publisher...
Thanks again.

Thanks Ollie, thanks JHM, that has been taken into account, and sent this evening.
