Stop it get out of my head!!!!!!!!

I had an idea for that and now you have built it.

It least I know that the concept is cool and you have done a damn fine job!

Brian, I think this is your most bestest yet!

Are you sure this is a WHIF? Looks too good not to be true.

That is so frickin' cool  Brian you did it again, another masterpiece.

On the other hand young man I'm over here sobbing in my tea, you did that to a Mk XII :o  I would have paid handsomely for a MK XII instead of me having to try and bash one together :(

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

Thanks for the kind words gents. Your comments are what keep me at this insanity and I'm glad my little build brought you some pleasure.

Leigh, don't fret. The basis of this is the fuselage from a Testor's "Easy Build" 1/72 Spitifire Mk. XXII. When I was at HobbyTown USA over the weekend they had at least one more on the shelf going for the princely sum of $5.25 (the cheapest airplane model in the store).

I'm not sure what will be next, but at some point in the future I plan on doing something heinous to an F-15.

Fantabulously amaztastic! It's more beautiful than I ever imagined!

I want one, pure and simple.

NARSES2

It's a sesquiplane so that will keep Rad happy  :) Amazing work Brian
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

wow Brian, your output is getting as prodigious as anthonyp!

Not a huge biplane fan myself, but that just looks so right!  Even with the spats... :P

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Hi BdaB! Your model reminds me a SPAD (no SPAT) desgn from the 30s. Were you inspired by it?
Will die without understanding this world.

The Cat a.k.a Meowbag

Seems to have the mark of a brilliant whif - it actually looks like it should exist!  :D

Once I again - I hate you guys sometimes.  :(

Perhaps in a subconcious way, ysi! While I wasn't thinking about 1930's SPADs, I've always enjoyed their lines. My Spatfire does indeed resemble a Bleriot-SPAD S-510.

P.S. I'm glad you enjoyed it Meowbag! If you think it looks like it "should-have-been" then I must be doing something right.

Incredibly beautiful work!  B)  I bet you could fool a JMN any day with this masterpiece! Great work.
