Can we have a few rules?

The Wooksta!

Or a start date?

Can members who've finished a "phonix build"  enter one or two, such as my "Highball" Mosquito or RAF F86D?

Here's my thought on rules:

1. Project must be at least 45% completed (either at major sub-assemblies stage, or fully assembled but in need of 10x PSR), something with only the cockpit built or such shouldnt count.

2. Build must have stalled for a loong time (longer than 3 days), I say that tongue -in- cheek 'cuz a long time can mean anything from covered in dust to havent touched it in the last 15 seconds. Whatever you're intending to enter (I'd recommend posting a current status pic) must have that "Oh gawd, I dont want to mess with THAT rightnow" look (IE covered in filler, in desperate need of PSR ect).

3. Multiple entries are OK, as this build is to encourage you to clear yer bench of unfinished work.

4. To reinforce the above, NO NEW BUILDS! This is suppost to be a build to help you get those stagnant projects off yer bench, not an excuse to start a new thing.

5. NO COMPLETED BUILDS! Reread the 2nd sentance of #4 for clarification.

Does these help? Did I miss anything? Whoever's runnin this show, feel free to use these for the rules (Who's in charge of this shing-dig anyway?)

I think there was also mention of the build having to have at least been mentioned here before so people were a bit familiar with the fact you'd stalled on it. Rules out my Belize Gannet.

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

If thats the case then I'm out completely since all my 1 weekers are still on sprue.

But this does make a good case for a spinoff, "PSR" GB anyone? :P

I thought we'd agreed that basically if you could link to an in-progress thread of your subject, it was eligable.

45%, c'mon, get real.  How the hell do you calculate that?

Hmmm...just stumbled across this GB and realised it is the perfect excuse for me to dust off the F-104 spaceship and Seahawk I started for the Airfix build earlier in the year.

I guess I'm in!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Hmmmm, I wonder if my 251/Katyusha launcher would be eligible. I mean, it fits all the rules: it's at the major sub-assemblies stage, and its basically been stalled since there idea was first cooked up when I joined this site. Plus, it would give me the proverbial kick-in-the-donkey to finally get it done. Now, Czech markings or Israeli?

Had hoped my explanation might have helped...

Sorry for the confusion guys (I run on how much % of the kit is done, and it does get tricky at times), what I meant was at least substantial work done on yer project as opposed to only a dab of paint here and a tad of filler there.

Again, I was only post MY THOUGHTS on what the rules MIGHT look like, since I aint the head cheese here (nor do I ever want to be, you guys would have my privates over the spit for it  ), I'm not making the policy but was just trying to help

*wonders what's going on over on ARC*
