AKA "Sparrow" trainer.

Figure we'll start by linking to the original build thread up to this point here so people can see a little about the build history, trials and tribulations, etc., then bring all future updates here as progress is made.

What a greenhouse of a canopy to mask off!  This took over an hour to do.

Ho hum, not the most exciting update you'll ever see but...oh well: I suppose progress is progress...

How many rolls of tape is that exactly?  :)

Thats why I don't mind paying £2.50 for some Eduard pre-cut masks :)

That and the fact I suck at masking  :(

Someone needs to make "Bazgoggles"...that way, whenever you look at one of your kits, it looks as good as one of his!

Did you give it a solid white undercoat first?  Very important.

Undercoats are for babies.
Yeah, in other words: I forgot...again!!!

I think I may have effed this one up, big-time, as the Tamiya lacquer is probably so thick the tape's gonna pull it all off.  We'll see...tomorrow.

That is unless you take a very sharp blade and score around the edges before you remove the tape. Just an idea. :)

Yellow is one of those colours where you really must have a solid white base to put it over.....

Well, last day of the year and I'm scrambling in an attempt to actually complete this today.  Custom-made landing gear struts and borrowed Mustang tailwheel are in position.
