Well, I've made it to the halfway point in over six months...yikes.

That thing kicks donkey.
Is the front part the finished paint job? Cos it sure looks like salt water weathered steel to me and if it is can we get a closer pic and some tips please?

Here is a closer shot of the front.  The best thing that I have run across this year is the use of india ink mixed with acrylic flat black and water for a sludge wash...the ink gives a really interesting texture to the finish, and wipes off well. In this case, the hull was sprayed Olive Drab, and then I used a field green for the middeck...all of this was weathered with pastels and then a sludge wash, which was wiped over immediately. A quick coat of clear flat seals the deal!
