Thorvic, that's one amazingly impressive build! I am in awe of your skill. That paintwork is absolutely flawless to my eye, no small feat given all the work that lies under it. This one certainly has earned the blue ribbon in my book!

I'm not even going to try and come up with any words to describe how impressed I am.

I've already heaped superlatives on Geoff on MSN and @ Telford, so I'll just ditto what everyone else has already said.

And once again urge Geoff to submit this as an article to one of the major modelling magazines.

Awesome.

Oh, and remind him that if he does a second one, we want to see a scratchbuilt interior!  :P

I just wanted to see if it could be done, it would have been nice to have the doors open and an interior added but that wasn't possible. Th e first version normally acts as a prototype so that the problems incured when building it can be rectified when doing a second one.

Brian the Digi camera forgives alot of errorsm the paint is tad tad rough in areas due to the undercoat, whilst ok for the general display it would not have faired well in any competition due to the number of modelling gaffs.

Contemplating a 2nd version for which i have either a vac Il-76 to be cut done to size or another Herc heavily modified, however i need another Stratotanker for the wings.

Cheers

Geoff
