just wish my kids would have a go at something like this and get away from the playstation

congrats to you both
Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest.
Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

QuoteYou are making a lot of grown men cry right now because you can do at 11 what it has taken most of us(me) MANY years to learn how to do.

And some of us still can't! My cockpits still aren't that good! Speaking of which, I'd better crack on with my 4-burner F-15's office.

That is amazing work - just wish I could detail cockpits like that myself

You should be one proud dad Leigh

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

QuoteMy dad has the coolest models ever.
Damn straight he does!

And you young feller-me-lass, are clearly a chip off the old block.  That really is outstanding work.

Be sure to keep up updated with your progress :)

QuoteRight. I've been building models since age 8 (26 years by God!) and I still can't do a cockpit like that.
Me, since age 10. Then, cement smeared all around and no paint at all. Now, 36!!! years later, not all my cockpits are like yours.
My compliments  (cheers with beer is not adequate for a young girl).  ;)
Will die without understanding this world.

Oh, and I'd just like to add, if she's an artist......

Well, we got 2 of them on this forum (Greg & Baz) and we all know what their models are like (ie works of art!)

Why do i get the feeling that "dad" has been doing modelling after bedtime? And that he has "helped" write the first post :P

I doubt it, she would know if he had tampered and then he would be in real trouble. The Junior tables at Telford were of excellent quality and it was only after reading the attached info card that we discovered that this was the juniors !!!

Progress so far looks very good Anstiss and i look forward to seeing the completed model in its What-if colour scheme  :D

Cheers

Truly impressive work. A very well done interior, for any age. If the Thunderbird models indicate the exterior, this is going to be a very impressive model.

Now where did I put my yarn?

woah I'm impressed! Welcome to the board I'm looking forward to seeing more of that Yak!
