QuoteWhy do i get the feeling that "dad" has been doing modelling after bedtime? And that he has "helped" write the first post :P

Other than showing her what to do, and giving her examples with bits from my spares box so she can see how it's done, dry fitting it for her and doing a dry run with the glue so she can see the best place to do it ( and the look on her face is priceless when I hand it back to her and the pieces fall apart , I think she expects me to hold it for her ) I've not touched it. The words are hers she's a very proud and excited little girl. Thunderbird two I did do the paint on for her 'cos her little fingers couldn't hold down the trigger on a spray can, it's sat on the shelf with all the other models for the past three years and I've never claimed to have built it, yeah I used it for a photo comparison once. It serves no purpose for me to lie about this, I'm just a proud Dad who's trying to encourage my daughter to flex her creative muscles instead of getting lost in the Disney channel and Nintendo. The kind words everyone's said here is another great example of the wonderful encouragement you guys dish out here, thanks guys. Progress and updates are gonna be slow I only see the girls on tuesdays and thursdays and every other weekend but we'll keep you updated.

As for the picture on the living room wall, at her elementary school they did a course called "painting with the masters" or summat where they where taught certain styles and basically tried to copy them. I believe this was her attempt at Marc Chagall? and I just love it, been framed and hung since the day she brought it home.

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

Well, well, so much speculation about Leigh secretly doing any of the young lady's work.

Me thinks there is a much deeper, stranger truth:

Hello Anstiss,
My name is John Howling Mouse but you can simply call me "Baz."
Now, for how long have YOU been building LEIGH'S models that he has been showing on this website as if they were his?!    ^_^

Your dad can explain my magazine cover below and our references to giving up the hobby and starting knitting as a new hobby instead.  Can I send you my airbrush now, or should I wait until after the Christmas mailing rush?

11?! When I was 11 I would stick to gray plastic models of US navy aircraft so that I wouldnt have to paint them!
