A few more shots, I know that "TarHeel Hal" is not quite authentic with the NMF cowling, but this is a slight "what if" version.

An SR, two F-12Bs, a B-58 in NMF and a B-58C interceptor in ADC grey, plus a few other things thrown in.

Here is the F-8 shelf from the other end.  I like F-8s, what can I say?

Two more photos, then I have to sign off for the rest of the year.    First, an A-7 with a few what ifs.

And last but not least, a few FWs with a Thud and Starfighter at the end of the row, and of course a few what ifs as well.

A stupid question maybe : how many models do you have ?
I love this collection, full of interesting aircrafts...
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

At the moment, I have about 250 on the shelves in our "model room",  with perhaps another 150 in "flyable storage" (in zip lock bags stored in boxes).  I have been modeling since 1968, and my oldest surviving kit is a DO-335 built in March 1969.  My technique has not changed at all since then; I build for fun and relaxation.  I would never take any models to a show or contest, since I would be laughed out of the building.   The nice thing about photos is that they cover up a lot of the flaws!!

I totally agree with you (about photos, fun relaxation, and never going to a show or context). I'm modeling for just 10 years, and have 140 models or so (lost the count!)

Wes, it's always a pleasure to see your collection.  That F-8 shelf is impressive!  How do you keep those shelves dust-free?

Actually, about every six months or so, I will remove all the models from the shelves.  Then I use Windex on the shelves to get rid of the dust.  I usually take the models and switch out some from my "flyable storage boxes" and re-arrange them to some degree.  Sometimes I have "themes", like all the Century Series fighters (thanks to Anigrand for making a complete set possible).  Then I am good for another six months or so, and the wife is happy.

Also, I have a "rotating collection" of a dozen or so models in the office at work.  Right now the theme is obscure air forces (thanks in large part to Zotz's Roundels of the world and a 37 year supply of spare decals!!).
