QuoteHey Nev, Can you and Leigh give me some guidance, please?.
You see i Want to whif that Gannet you were talking about, say, a multirole embarked aircraft for, um, a third or second world Navy. Roles to fulfill on one same aircraft (with moular/interchangeable equipment):

SAR/Rescue
Maritime Patrol
AWACS (yeah, AWACS)
ASW/ASUW

Thanks.

Have you considered a Gannet floatplane?  (I'm planning on one in plastic)

Are there floatplane card models you can download?

Wow Rafa that's some absolutely fantastic work you've got there! I really love those card models. I don't think that's something I'd care to tackle, but I have a lot of respect for the skill involved and I enjoy seeing the results of others.

Just wait until Leigh sees that Gannet of yours. He'll be drooling. You see, Leigh loves Gannets like Mr Howling Mouse loves T-Tails and like I love spats!

Mmmm spats!

JHM how about a twin Gannet with a Grumman "Duck" style hull    :)

Sisko

Welcome aboard.
I am very interested in that dropship.

I'm a Sci-Fi modeller as well.

Did I spot in the abandoned corner a macross valkyrie in battleoid mode?

Or are these eyes deceiving me?

Mr Basher, i don't know what spats is but let me make an educated guess... is it a wing or fuselahe housing for wheels?

Rafael, hang aroung long enough and you'll see that there are several popular themes that will win you muchos praise from certain members  ;)

Gannets
Canadian
Michigan ANG
Spats
T-Tails
Zwillings

So, your winning Gannet would be a zwilling t-tailed Gannet with spats, belonging to the RCAF and zapped by the Michigan ANG :)

This morning quickie: a failed attempt at a AH56 cheyenne gunship, just slappin together 2 profile views on thick cardboard. But a Light bulb went on and i put an x-wing rotor on (obviously a crude sample)

Nice collection, interesting materials! Cant wait to see some plastic kits! And perhaps use cardboard models to see what a fictional paint scheme could look like before attemting on plastic?
