You see i Want to whif that Gannet you were talking about,
I dunno why people associate me with the Gannet   I don't know a bloody thing about them except that they just look so amazingly stupid that I love them.

QuoteJHM how about a twin Gannet with a Grumman "Duck" style hull    :)
Well, I *am* putting a Duck style hull on a 1:32 Sparrowhawk and modifying it into a 1:48 would've-been-competitor for the Duck....

Why not, then?  Couple of Trumpeter Gannets and a float from somewhere...

Ok. Leigh, in you foto there is a little eggbeater of a hughes 500 defender, armed with a rocket pod and a machine gun. Next to it is an offshoot of the stavatti sm47 supermachete, a little forward swept wingy thingy, that i converted to a different shape, and next to it a biggun-toting humvee.

Hey Mr Howling mouse, Igot back to mama plastic!!....

The dish will be made of plastic too, of course.....

i have to still sand and saw to make the leading edges, and learn in a hurry how to egrave detail in this CLIP-ON AWACS SET

A X-33 made of paper and cardboard ???!!! I made one four years ago using the cap of a bottle of shampoo to make the oval nose!
I have to show you some pics (I've never posted pics of it here :) )
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Welcome Rafael. And I have a question for you as our new resident card model expert; do you think it would be possible to transfer the pattern from the card to Evergreen plastic card stock and make a plastic version of those cool card models?

Thank you SimonR, but far from expert, i'm merely an aficionado, you should seel what other people do in that area.

Having the right thickness of plastic, i don't see why not to transfer those designs.

Avante, Archibald!! send me those pics, and i will send you the internet address to download it as soon as i find it.

Hola Mr. John Howling Mouse, i remember i took up your challenge of my building any plastic model from the stash. Yesterday night Brian da Basher invited me to a GB in wich we will depict whiffing versions of airplanes from the 1930s-1940s time lapse. It is Here, and i thought it would be the perfect opportunity to start the sharing experience of a group build, and at the same time, the first build i make in years!!!, so i started inmediately to think in my entry, and came up with this:

QuoteHi Basher, i already been to the GB thread. I loved it. I'm thinking in posting a version of the hurricane in service with the US navy to patrol arctic landscapes. A seaborne Hurricane that takes off from and lands on US destroyers and Battleships fitted with ramps. Is an early STOVL Version, an autgyro, ideal to patrol great expanses of ice covered sea. Not at all a fast fighter, it is intended to patrol and locate enemy ships, subs, aircraft, and even can land on and take off from unprepared ice floes. It has, as you see spats (yum!!), and these fixed undercarriages can be changed aboard ship for floats. Whaddayathink?.
