I have added a border from a 1940s photograph to one of my photobase pictures...I like the effect and will try it again on some of my pics of my Luft'46 models next year.

Wow one can only imagine ol' Gramps standing proud next to that machine....Except Gramps had not the faintest idea about aircraft or where Germany is.

Fabulous!. How did you do that? (Remember, go easy on me, i'm the crappy fotographer)

I like the border too Matrixone. It adds yet another layer of fake authenticity to your amazing shots.

By the way, I just finished a project I think you might appreciate. As I don't usually build Luft stuff, I hope you'll go easy on me. Pics should be taken and posted by this time Sunday.

Very impressive! One request, please? could you mess something up every once in a while, so that we know you're human? ;)

Look behind you!

Thanks Rafael, Brian, and Eddie!

Rafael,
I cropped one of my older photobase pictures and grabbed an old WW II photo from e-bay and placed my pic over the e-bay pic using Photoshop.

Brian,
I'm really looking forward to your Luft'46 build!

Eddie,
My new He 162 kit I am working on has plenty of goofs on it, all of them from being careless and not paying attention to the small details.

Learning to add these borders to my pictures will be useful later on when I attempt to mess with the JMNs at a certain other site. :D

Ok, start again from "I cropped...."

Rafael,
My first step was to look on e-bay for some wartime pictures of German a/c and decide on what would work best for my purposes.
Next step was to use the crop tool and cut my pic to match the inside of the border.
Using photoshop I placed my cropped pic inside of the border of the real photograph.

Sorryyyy! i was joking!!

Obviously, i need to master the graphics software first in order to paste wathever i model into any scene conceivable. Clever!
Saludos, amigo.

Thanks Jeff and Greg!

I might try another pic with the old style border when my Bf 109G-14 is finished, it should look convincing.

Thanks Captain Canada and Sisko!

Captain Canada,

There is no southern border in the U.S.A. anymore, they are already here.

Sisko,

When I build my what-if He 162 early next year I will do some of my pics of it with the antique border, should be fun!

That's really nice! You could even add some graffitis on it (signature, cheer words, date, and the like... B) )
I'm impressed by the work you do on photos, as they say, you could really fool JMNs (well, they are already fools :P )
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.
