QuoteThat's strange because there's a car shop rattle can product called 'back to black' which is marketed for restoring bleached out plastic grey bumpers.  I'd swear that was just Johnsons's Klear in aerosol form.

Klear is sold elsewhere as 'Future'.  Except in South Africa, where I was asked to take a couple of bottles down to my modelling hosts.  "Ain't no Future in South Africa!" they said...

:ar:
its Johnson and Johnson floor wax here...and I'm always finding MY bottle in the maids closet! :)

But I get the joke too...been a LONG day...
Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

That sucks!  Sounds like more of an incompatibility problem than the Future itself but I've never had any problems spraying (or brushing) Future.  Stuff's an absolute godsend to me and I won't even risk decalling now without it.

What kind of paint were you topcoating and how long had said paint dried before you hit it with the Future?

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

The paint was Polly-S acrylic.  the Future went on the day after painting.  I've sprayed Future over Polly-S before with less drying time (Impatient Modeler Syndrome), with great results.  There were only a few small areas of paint that gave problems, so it may have been poor prep of the plastic itself, unrelated to the Future.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....
