Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Every time I look at the 559 I think one of the Vickers office bod's must have gone on to work for the Thunderbird's etc production team ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Cheers Robert, could work out to be an expensive investment then.

Although Fantastic Plastic produce their own kits, I fairly sure it's really a hobby shop. They import lots of other manufacturers products for sale. A lot like Hannants, or some of the earlier companies ---

I would like a type 559 though, there is something about them that appeals to me, both as a real world what if, and as a possible shado interceptor.

I saw the Bartini too. But the price is "a bit" too high for me I'm afraid.

An awesome looking aeroplane for sure, and as you say, an equally awesome price!

How does the escort fighter get back aboard the bomber in order to get home though?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
